New satellite images of Wagner PMC camp in Belarus released
The New York Times journalist Christiaan Triebert posted the photos by Maxar Technologies on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
The pictures show a garrison in the village of Tsel (Belarus), which is called the "Wagner camp".
"Taken slightly off-nadir or “at an oblique angle,” as described by Maxar, it shows hundreds of cars, small trucks and around 35 semi-trailers," the post reads.
As Ukrinform reported, the Belarusian authorities allowed "Wagnerites" to set up a camp in the village of Tsel, Mohylov region, where tents for almost 9,000 people have been set up.
The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev, said that the actions of the Wagner PMC members in Belarus are aimed at psychological pressure and intimidation of the Ukrainian population.
