SBU confirms its involvement in attack on Crimean Bridge in October

Chief of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk said this during the presentation of a postal stamp dedicated to the activities of the Ukrainian special service together with Ukrposhta director general Ihor Smilianskyi, Ukrinform reports.

The special service conducts "many different special operations", he noted.

"We will be able to talk about them publicly after the victory, we will not talk about individual ones at all. My colleague today wears a relevant T-shirt today. This is one of our implemented operations, namely the destruction of the Crimean Bridge on October 8 last year," Maliuk said.

As reported, on October 8, 2022, an explosion followed by a fire occurred on the bridge over the Kerch Strait. After that, part of the road surface on the bridge collapsed, traffic was blocked.
