Russians launch 31 artillery strikes on Vuhledar, drop bombs on New York

Russian invaders have launched 31 artillery strikes on the Donetsk region’s Vuhledar and dropped two aerial bombs on the urban-type settlement of New York.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In the Volnovakha direction, Russians launched 31 artillery strikes on Vuhledar. Prechystivka is remaining under enemy fire. […] In the Horlivka direction, the enemy dropped two aerial bombs on New York: nine houses and an administrative building were damaged. In the Chasiv Yar community, two houses were hit,” Kyrylenko wrote.

In his words, one civilian was killed in the Donetsk direction. Two people were injured in Avdiivka.

The Marinka community’s Krasnohorivka and Kurakhove were also affected by Russian shelling.

In the Lysychansk direction, two houses were damaged in the Zvanivka community. A medical aid post was destroyed in Pereizne. Eight houses were hit in the Lyman community’s Yampil.

A reminder that, on July 27, 2023, one civilian was killed and three injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region.
