Russians threaten civilian vessels sailing to Ukrainian seaports - interception

Border guards have released a recording of an intercepted conversation between Russian invaders in which they threaten civilian ships that are sailing to Ukrainian seaports.

The State Border Guard Service reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

The intercepted conversation includes the invaders, who used an open channel to communicate with a ship passing near one of the seaports of Ukraine and threaten a civilian vessel: "I warn you!...".

"Russian warships continue to act aggressively and defiantly in the Black Sea, breaking all the rules of international maritime law," the State Border Guard Service said.

As reported, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) called on Russia to comply with conventions and stop threatening merchant shipping in the Black Sea.
