The incident in the Rostov region’s Taganrog is an unconditional consequence of the large-scale war unleashed by Russia and uncontrolled disintegration processes at various levels in the aggressor state.

The relevant statement was made by Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Everything happening in Russia, including Taganrog, is an unconditional consequence of the large-scale war initiated by Russia, uncontrolled processes of disintegration of management systems at various levels, and growing internal protests,” Podolyak wrote.

In his words, investigations are needed to establish the immediate causes of the explosions.

“However, the ‘causes and consequences’ are clear: the incompetence, maliciousness and irresponsibility of the ‘Putin elite’,” Podolyak added.

A reminder that a missile reportedly exploded in Russia’s downtown Taganrog, having injured fifteen people.

National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Secretary Oleksiy Danilov believes the incident in the Rostov region’s Taganrog had resulted from the incompetent actions of Russian air defense system operators.
