Enemy lost more than two companies in Tavria direction in past day
“Currently, the defense forces systematically defeat the enemy and have certain success. In particular, the Ukrainian military liberated Staromayorske in Donetsk region and gain a foothold on the achieved frontiers,” Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops, posted on Telegram.
Over the past day, the enemy lost more than two companies killed and wounded. Nineteen units of enemy military equipment were destroyed, in particular, two tanks, four armored combat vehicles, a D-20 howitzer, a Supercam UAV, a Zala UAV, an Elenor UAV, a 2A36 Giatsint-B howitzer, and vehicles. Moreover, eight enemy ammunition depots were destroyed.
On July 27, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions in Tavria direction 17 times and launched 666 strikes, while Ukraine’s artillery units performed 1,510 firing missions, Tarnavskyi noted.
