Russians produce dozens of Kalibr missiles per month - DIU
Representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Andriy Yusov said this on the air of the telethon "United News", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"There are dozens of "Kalibr" produced. As for other types of weapons - for example, " Kinzhal", "Iskanders" - the numbers are much lower, only a few," Yusov said.
Regarding the Iskander missiles, Yusov said that Russia has established production and is trying to increase it.
"But... in fact, everything that is being produced now is immediately launched by Russian terrorists in Ukraine after certain pauses, which are needed to accumulate and prepare for the next terrorist attacks," the representative of the DIU noted.
According to him, it is important that Russia positions itself as a state that wants to be a leader in the arms market and arms sales.
"And of course, these incidents ("strikes" at Moscow - ed.), when Putin's regime cannot protect even the key points in terms of business prospects for the sale of Russian weapons, are not very optimistic for them," he said.
According to the DIU representative, an alternative picture is being built in Russia, which is increasingly different from reality. "Certainly, some groups, including quite influential ones, are beginning to notice this," he said.
Yusov added that in Russia, the regime pays attention only to "the opinion of the residents of Moscow, the capital region and St. Petersburg. The regime does not care about anything else."
As reported, explosions occurred in Moscow and the Moscow region on the night of July 30. Preliminarily, the Russian capital was attacked by unknown drones, and air defense systems were operating in the suburbs.
