Two killed, three wounded by Russian shelling in Donetsk region on July 31

Two people were killed and three others injured as a result of Russian aggression in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region on Monday, July 31.

Donetsk region governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"On July 31, the Russians killed two residents of the Donetsk region — in Zoriane. Another three people were injured throughout the day," Kyrylenko said.

He added that it was currently impossible to establish the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

On July 30, one civilian was killed and seven others injured in the Donetsk region.
