Another grain silo damaged in Odesa region in Russian drone attack

In the south of Ukraine’s Odesa region, as a result of the Russian drone attack, fires broke out at the port facilities and industrial infrastructure, with another grain silo reported as damaged.

That’s according to Oleh Kiper, the head of Odesa Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"At night, the enemy launched attack UAVs at the south of Odesa region. As a result of the strike, fires broke out at the region’s port facilities and industrial infrastructure. A grain silo was damaged," he wrote

The emergency services scrambled to the scene, the head of the region added.

According to Kiper, as of 05:30, no casualties were reported.

"The update, including on the air defense performance, will come from the he military command," the official noted.

As reported, Russian aggressors attacked the southern regions of Odesa region involving attack drones overnight Wednesday.

Since Russia withdrew from the Black Sea Grain Initiative, its invasion forces intensified missile and drone strikes targeting Ukraine's sea and river port infrastructure. The strikes also deliberately aim to destroy Ukrainian grain.
