Russian troops shell Kherson at night and in morning, damage, injuries reported

The Russian military shelled the central part of Kherson at night and in the morning, there are destructions and injured.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"At night, the Russian army attacked the central part of Kherson again," the statement said.

It is noted that at about 03:20 a.m. the occupants attacked a residential area. The enemy once again targeted the homes of the citizens. Fires broke out in the places of hits, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers.

Two people were injured. A 56-year-old woman was hospitalized in moderate condition, and a 59-year-old man was treated on the spot.

According to Prokudin, the shelling of Kherson city center continued in the morning. The occupants hit a bank building and the house of a 78-year-old Kherson resident. The building was damaged, but miraculously the woman was not injured.

As reported, Russian troops shelled the Kherson region 74 times over the past day, killing one person and injuring eight civilians.
