Explosions in Moscow showed Russia unable to protect its own territory – intel spox
Andrii Yusov, a spokesperson for the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defense Ministry, said this on national television, Ukrinform reports.
"Let's analyze not the goals, but the consequences of the drone attack on Moscow. The whole world saw that Putin's regime and Putin's Russia are unable to protect their own territory, their own capital, and even objects related to the security and defense sector," Yusov said.
He stressed that this is an extremely large anti-advertisement for Russia as a potential supplier and seller of weapons, primarily air defense and electronic warfare systems.
In his opinion, after the recent events, their value in the international arms market has significantly fallen.
According to Yusov, Russian businesses realized that it turns out that Putin's regime is leading all of Russia, its business and economy to collapse.
He also said that the escalation of the conflict in the Russian government is always a very complex process.
"It simultaneously and synchronously consists of many events - on the front line, from the domestic political situation on the territory of Russia itself, and from the geopolitical situation in the world. All this influences and creates prerequisites for the further 'transformation' of the Russian Federation," Yusov said.
Early on July 30, explosions rang out in the Russian capital, Moscow. According to preliminary reports, the Russian capital was attacked by unknown drones.
