Man injured as Russians shell Kherson region’s Veletenske

On the morning of August 5, 2023, Russian troops shelled the Kherson district’s village of Veletenske. A civilian man was injured.
The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Around 09:19 a.m., the occupiers struck the Kherson district’s village of Veletenske with artillery,” the report states.

A civilian man received shrapnel injuries and was taken to hospital. Detached houses were damaged.
A reminder that, on the night of August 5, 2023, Russian invaders twice attacked the city of Kherson with artillery. Two civilians were reported injured.
