Civilian killed, another injured as Russians shell village in Kharkiv region

Russian artillery opened fire at a village in Kharkiv region where a woman was killed and an elderly man was injured.
That’s according to Oleh Syniehubov, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
"The occupiers continue to attack populated areas in Kharkiv region. As a result of enemy shelling of the village of Podoly in the Kupiansk district, a woman, 58, was killed, and a man, 66, sustained injuries and was rushed to a hospital," the posting says.
It is noted that as a result of the stirke, a private house was destroyed, and a fire broke out in an outbuilding.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the morning of Sunday, August 6, the Russians launched missile strikes on Kharkiv from own territory, firing off a batch of S-300 missiles.
