Russians shell Sumy region 21 times today

"During the day, the enemy launched 21 strikes, 139 explosions were recorded. Fourteen settlements in seven territorial communities were shelled: Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Khotin, Seredyna-Buda, Shalyhine, Esman, Nova Sloboda," the Sumy Regional Military Administration posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

The Administration specifies that Krasnopillia community came under mortar (20 explosions) and artillery (14 explosions) attacks. Bilopillia community was struck with artillery (six explosions), mortar (11 explosions). Esman community: mortar (14 explosions), artillery (12 explosions), machine gun attacks (5 rounds) were recorded. Seredyna-Buda community suffered from mortar (four explosions) and artillery (16 explosions) attacks.

Shalyhine and Khotin communities came under mortar fire. Two households were destroyed in the latter.

The enemy opened fire from mortar (11 explosions) and a grenade launcher (15 explosions) on Nova Sloboda community.
