Over last day, Russians massively shell five districts of Kharkiv region
Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
He said the enemy was firing from artillery and mortars, dropping guided aerial bombs and using other weapons. Settlements of the Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izyum and Kupyansk districts were under fire.
According to Sinegubov, six private houses were damaged and fires broke out in Kozacha Lopan, in the Kharkiv district. Men aged 67 and 66 were injured.
In Kupyansk, a 14-year-old boy was injured and hospitalized.
The head of the RMA said that Podoly in the Kupyansk district was under constant fire throughout the day. Several private houses were damaged in the village, and fires broke out.
In Kucherivka, private houses and cars were damaged, and a forest fire broke out.
According to Syniehubov, several private houses and a grain elevator were damaged as a result of massive shelling of Vovchansk.
A building of a civilian enterprise was damaged as a result of a guided missile strike on the village of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, in the Kupyansk district.
According to Sinegubov, in the village of Siryi Yar, in the Kupyansk district, four private houses were damaged and fires broke out.
Mine clearance continues in the region. Over the past day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined more than six hectares of territory and defused 68 explosive devices.
As reported, according to Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, some settlements in the Kharkiv region are preparing for the mandatory evacuation of children.
