Mandatory evacuation announced in Kupiansk community of Kharkiv region

In Kupiansk community of Kharkiv region, a mandatory evacuation of the population was announced due to the constant shelling and the security situation in the area.

The Kupiansk City Military Administration announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In the de-occupied territories of Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region, the mandatory evacuation of the population has been launched," the report says.

According to the relevant order signed by Head of the Kupiansk City Military Administration Andriy Konashevych, the mandatory evacuation from Kupiansk community to safer regions of Ukraine was announced for Kupiansk, Zaoskillia, Kivsharivka and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. Also in this area, the mandatory evacuation applies to residents of Dvorichanske, Petropavlivka, partially Kindrashivka and Kurylivka communities.

The city administration urges residents not to neglect their safety.

As reported by Ukrinform, Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, said during the nationwide United News telethon that some settlements in Kharkiv region were preparing for the mandatory evacuation of children.
