Russians drop aerial bomb on Orikhiv: Police captain killed, 12 people injured

On Saturday morning, a law enforcement officer was killed and 12 people were injured in an enemy attack on Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region.

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In the morning, the enemy hit Orikhiv with a guided aerial bomb. A policeman was killed in the attack. 12 people were injured, including four police officers," he wrote.

The deceased is a 31-year-old police captain.

Doctors and police paramedics are fighting for the lives of the wounded. Several people are in serious condition.

Earlier, it was reported that at night the enemy attacked from the south-eastern direction with five Shahed-136/131 combat UAVs, three of which were destroyed by air defense forces in Zaporizhzhia region.
