Defense forces destroy enemy helicopter

Eight enemy Kalibr cruise missiles and 15 Shahed-136/131 combat drones were destroyed in the sky over Ukraine last night. An enemy helicopter was downed around 05:00.

On the night of August 14, the Russians launched several waves of combat drones and Kalibr cruise missiles.

The UAVs attacked from the south-eastern direction (Primorsko-Akhtarsk), Kalibr missiles were fired from the Black Sea (an enemy frigate in the area of temporarily occupied Yalta).

In total, Russian troops launched 15 Shahed-136/131 combat UAVs and eight Kalibr cruise missiles.

The air defense forces and means of the Air Force in cooperation with units of other components of the defense forces destroyed all targets.

Anti-aircraft guided missiles and small arms were used.

A fire broke out in several locations in Odesa city due to falling fragments of missiles and drones.

Around 05:00 on August 14, in Bakhmut direction, an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Force destroyed an enemy helicopter (the type is being specified).

As reported, when shooting down the missiles, which the enemy fired at the center of Odesa city, fragments damaged a dormitory of one of the educational institutions and a supermarket.

The blast wave damaged the windows and balconies of several buildings and cars parked nearby.

According to preliminary information, three supermarket staff members were injured.
