Two Russians detained in Poland for spreading Wagner Group’s propaganda
This was reported by Bloomberg, Ukrinform saw.
Poland’s Interior Minister Mariusz Kaminski announced on Monday on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter) that two Russians had been circulating propaganda materials in Krakow and Warsaw. The politician stopped short of providing any additional details of the case.
In recent weeks, the authorities in Poland and the Baltic States warned of a growing security threat from the authoritarian president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, who had sheltered Russian mercenaries from the notorious Wagner Group, the report says.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on Monday, Commander of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Serhiy Nayev said the option was not ruled out of Wagner mercenaries being used in operations on the territory of Poland and Lithuania, close to the border with Belarus.
