Yermak: Kh-101 missiles launched by Russians at night produced this year
"Last night, the Russians struck Ukraine, in particular, with Kh-101 missiles. These missiles were produced by the Russians this year. Kh-101 missiles, which were produced in April, have approximately 30 foreign microcircuits," Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak posted on Telegram.
He emphasized that information was being collected, work and regular communication with partners was ongoing.
According to him, partner governments also work with manufacturers and suppliers of microcircuits.
"Restrictions have already been imposed, but sanctions need to be strengthened so that Russia cannot obtain critical components and manufacture missiles," Yermak emphasized, adding that the special group headed by him and Michael McFaul puts forward relevant proposals.
As reported, on the night of August 15, the Russian army struck Ukraine with air- and sea-launched missiles. In total, at least 28 cruise missiles of various types were fired. Ukrainian defense forces destroyed 16 cruise missiles.
