Russian military death toll in Ukraine exceeds 256,000

From February 24, 2022 to August 17, 2023, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 256,050 Russian military personnel, including 480 soldiers over the past day.
This is stated in the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook.
Moreover, the Ukrainian troops destroyed 4,329 (+5 over the past day) enemy tanks, 8,398 (+18) armored combat vehicles, 5,169 (+17) artillery systems, 714 MLRS, 486 (+1) air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 314 helicopters, 4,272 (+24) operational-tactical UAVs, 1,406 (+2) cruise missiles, 18 ships/boats, 7,641 (+27) vehicles and fuel tanks, 773 special equipment units.

As reported, the aviation of the defense forces launched 10 strikes on enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment clusters and another one on an anti-aircraft missile system over the past day.
