Russia keeps five warships in Black Sea and Sea of Azov, no missile carriers among them

Five Russia’s warships remain on combat duty in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, with no missile carriers among them.

The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"As of 10:00 on August 17, there are four enemy ships on combat duty in the Black Sea; there is one enemy ship in the Sea of Azov," the report says.

In the Mediterranean Sea, Russia keeps eight warships on combat duty, including two Kalibr cruise missile carriers with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine put six Russian large landing ships out of action.
