16,255 children considered found in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, a total of 16,255 children have been found in Ukraine.
The press service of the Ombudsman's Office reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reported.
According to the state portal for searching for children 'Children of War', as of August 17, 2023 (in Ukraine - ed.), 1,158 children are considered missing, 16,255 children are found.
As reported, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights and Child Rehabilitation Daria Herasymchuk said that Russia is pursuing a deliberate genocidal policy against Ukraine, killing and injuring children on Ukrainian territory or deporting young Ukrainians to replenish its own nation.
