Russian military death toll in Ukraine climbs to over 257,000

Ukraine's defense forces killed about 257,010 Russian invaders between February 24, 2022 and August 19, 2023, including 500 in the past day alone.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
In addition, Ukraine's defense forces destroyed 4,340 (+8) enemy tanks, 8,424 (+14) armored combat vehicles, 5,212 (+19) artillery systems, 714 multiple rocket launchers, 486 air defense systems, 315 warplanes, 316 helicopters, 4,282 (+6) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 1,406 cruise missiles, 18 warships/cutters, 7,665 (+7) trucks and fuel tankers, and 785 (+2) pieces of specialized equipment.
Data on enemy losses are being clarified.
