Eight civilians injured in Russian drone attack on Khmelnytskyi region
That’s according to Serhiy Tiurin, the first deputy chief of the regional military administration, who reported the news on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.
"Last night, during the air raid alert, the enemy once again attacked our Khmelnytskyi region. In several villages across the Khmelnytskyi district, the explosive wave damaged 30 households. Windows were shattered and doors were blown off in 32 households," he said.
According to Tiurin, two women suffered cuts from glass shards and six more people in a state of shock required medical assistance.
The response teams continue their work to assess the consequences of the latest attack, added the first deputy head of the administration.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the night of August 19, air defense forces destroyed 15 of 17 Shahed-136/131 one-way attack drones launched by Russia.
The Russians attacked Ukraine from Kursk region. Anti-aircraft defense units engaged enemy targets in the northern, central, and western regions of Ukraine.
