Russian troops launch 77 attacks on Kherson region on Aug 19, killing one

The Russian army launched 77 shelling attacks on Ukraine's southern Kherson region on Saturday, August 19.
Kherson region governor Oleksandr Prokudin said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"In the last 24 hours, the enemy launched 77 shelling attacks, firing 422 shells from mortars, artillery, tanks, Grads, UAVs and aircraft. The enemy fired 14 shells at Kherson city," Prokudin said.
According to him, the Russian military targeted residential areas in the region's settlements, a critical infrastructure facility and a plant in Kherson.
He said that one person had been and another one injured due to Russian aggression.
Early on August 19, the Russian military shelled a village in the Darivka community, Kherson region, killing a woman.
