Russian invaders shell 12 settlements across Donetsk region in past 24 hours

Last day, Russian troops shelled 12 settlements in Donetsk region where they damaged 25 civilian objects - households, businesses, and gas stations.

This was reported by the Donetsk Region Police Department, according to Ukrinform.

"The occupiers hit 12 settlements in Donetsk region – a civilian was injured. In the past day, the police documented 18 enemy attacks on the civilian population. Russian troops launched R-77 missiles, S-300 air defense missiles, drones, Smerch, Uragan, and Grad surface-to-air rockets, as well as employed artillery, tanks, and mortars... 25 civilian objects were damaged," the report said.

It is noted that among the damaged civilian objects were 15 residential buildings, enterprises, gas stations, garages, and vehicles.

In particular, the enemy targeted Kramatorsk with two S-300 missiles, destroying industrial workshops.

The Russians also hit Kostyantynivka with a R-77 missile and Smerch rockets, damaging four private households, garages, and a car.

Russian artillery shelled Toretsk, where a person was injured and eight households were damaged. Two more houses were affected in Shcherbynivka.

According to law enforcement, an apartment building in Avdiivka was destroyed as a result of tank shelling.

Russia struck Sloviansk with a drone, hitting a grain processing plant. In Novoukraintsi, a gas station came under fire.

The police and SBU opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the law enforcement officers stated, adding that on August 20 they evacuated another 69 civilians from Donetsk region.

As reported, Donetsk region is constantly under Russian fire as every day the enemy kills and injures civilians and destroys infrastructure facilities.
