Russia keeps three missile carriers combat ready off Crimea coast
That’s according to the head of the joint coordination press center of Operational Command South, Natalia Humeniuk, who spoke on the air of Espreso TV.
"The situation in the Black Sea remains tense because the Russian naval group has been strengthened by three missile carriers. Among them is the new missile ship, Tsyklon, which has not yet passed tests. According to preliminary data, the number of Kalibr missiles can be increased to 20 units. This means that two warships and a submarine – all missile carriers – are ready to engage targets across the territory of Ukraine," Humeniuk noted.
According to her, last night, Russian attack drones were spotted over the territory of Ukraine.
"The enemy conducts combat reconnaissance, detecting Ukrainian air defense systems, preparing for attacks," Humeniuk added.
As reported earlier, on the morning of August 21, a small missile ship approached the Russian submarine in the Black Sea.
