More Russian military, equipment with new markings spotted in Mariupol
Petro Andriushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"We have recorded a significant increase in the number of Russians in the Mariupol region, up to 5,000. Most of them are for manning and coordination. Again, the Caucasus... The use of a new marking for military equipment has been recorded. This time it is a white diamond," Andriushchenko wrote.
He noted that in addition, the Nikolsky district continues 'defensive militarization' along the Nikolske-Novohryhorivka-Boyove line, using the Fedorovsky forest.
A strong movement of trucks with ammunition towards Berdiansk is also recorded, the mayor's adviser added.
As reported, the Russian invaders are turning Mariupol and the surrounding villages into a military and logistics hub.
