Russian loitering munitions cause damage to apartment block in Sumy region

On August 22, 2023, Russian suicide drones attacked the Sumy region, having damaged an apartment block.
The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Over the past day, Russians have shelled the Sumy region’s border areas 20 times. A total of 115 explosions were recorded. Such communities as Velyka Pysarivka, Seredyna-Buda, Krasnopillia, Khotin, Druzhba, Esman and Bilopillia came under enemy fire.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, four civilians were injured and seven cars were damaged in Russian mortar attacks (eight explosions). Additionally, enemy loitering munitions caused damage to an apartment block (two explosions).
