Russian death toll in Ukraine climbs over 259K

From February 24, 2022 to August 24, 2023, Ukraine’s Defense Forces eliminated 259,160 Russian invaders, including 340 in the past day alone.
That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.
Also, as of August 24, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed 4,375 enemy tanks (+2 in the past day), 8,511 (+23) armored fighting vehicles, 5,333 (+15) artillery systems, 723 (+1) MLR systems, 494 (+3) air defense systems, 315 (+0) warplanes, 316 (+0) helicopters, 4,344 (+20) operational- and tactical- level drones, 1,406 (+0) cruise missiles, 18 (+0) warships/cutters, 7,773 (+28) trucks and tankers, and 801 (+1) units of specialized equipment.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled assault attempts by Russian troops.
