Enemy shells Kherson city center, child among injured
As Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported, at around 11:00 a.m., Russian troops shelled Kherson once again.
"One of the shells hit the roof of a private house in the center of the city. We know about three civilian casualties, including a young child. The data is being clarified," the statement said.
A pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated.
Earlier, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported the shelling on Telegram: "The enemy is shelling the center of Kherson! Everyone to the shelter!".
As reported, residents of the Kherson region were asked not to go out unless necessary on August 23-24. The RMA warns that intensified shelling by Russian troops is possible during the holidays.
