France says it has 'reasonable doubts' about cause of Prigozhin's plane crash
This was stated by the official representative of the French government Olivier Véran, Ukrinform reported citing The Guardian.
"We don't know the circumstances of this crash yet. We may have some reasonable doubts," Veran said in an interview with France 2.
Asked about US President Joe Biden's statement that “There’s not much that happens in Russia that Putin’s not behind", Veran agreed that "it's usually a truth that can be established."
According to Veran, Prigozhin was a man who "did Putin's dirty work. And what he did is inseparable from the policy of the dictator, who held him responsible for his abuses as head of Wagner Group.
"Prigozhin leaves behind mass graves. He leaves a mess all over the globe, I mean Africa, Ukraine and Russia itself," Veran added.
As reported , a private plane carrying Prigozhin, according to preliminary information, crashed in the Tver region of Russia on Wednesday.
