Ukraine capable of striking any part of temporarily occupied Crimea – Budanov
Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said this in an interview with RFE/RL’s Crimea. Realities project when asked whether Ukraine keeps Crimea under fire control.
"No, absolutely not. We don't even keep it under partial control. But we are capable of striking any part of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as of now. We can reach the enemy at absolutely any point. But this is not fire control, these are completely different things. We have the ability to achieve certain goals at any point, but fire control is completely different," Budanov emphasized.
As reported, Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, said that on August 25 an attack was made on the 126th Separate Guards Coastal Defense Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation which is stationed in the village of Perevalne in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
