In occupied Berdiansk, Dormash plant ablaze - city hall in exile

The head of the Berdiansk City Military Administration, Viktoriya Halitsina, reported this on Telegram, as seen by Ukrinform.

"Local residents reported a fire in the Kolonia microdistrict, on the premises of the Dormash plant. The reasons are being investigated. According to tentative reports, Berdiansk residents had not heard any explosions prior to the fire," she wrote.

Earlier, the Mayor of Melitopol in exile, Ivan Fedorov, reported with reference to local residents that the occupiers had brought their heavy military equipment to the plant’s territory earlier.

A number of photos are circulating on social media showing the area near the scene of the incident. Plumes of thick black can be seen in the images.
