Ihnat: Enemy's aviation activity in southern direction still high
Yurii Ihnat, a spokesman for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on the air of the national telethon 'United News', according to Ukrinform.
"This time there are not many missiles, but air- and sea-launched. There was also a fall of debris near Kryvyi Rih, where the enemy aimed Kh-59 air-launched missiles. Now the enemy's aviation activity is quite high, especially in the southern direction in the waters of the Azov Sea, also in the Kherson region. Enemy aircraft are working. It is dangerous: last night the Kh-59s were launched from Su-34 aircraft, there may be further usage of these missiles in the southern and eastern regions," he said.
Ihnat noted that the enemy seeks to keep Ukrainians and the Armed Forces in constant tension with regular attacks, in particular by shelling civilian infrastructure. Last year, the Russians destroyed Ukraine's energy sector, and now they are destroying the food sector, he added.
As reported, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed four enemy missiles at night on August 28. An industrial facility was hit in the Poltava region as a result of an enemy attack.
