Defense Forces destroy Russia’s Predel-E radar system in Kherson region

The relevant statement was made by Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The mobile coastal over-the-horizon detection radar system with increased stealth Predel-E – this is how ambitiously and pompously Russians presented the new product of their military and industrial complex to a narrow circle of professionals in June 2023. Then, in ‘top secret’ mode, they redeployed it to the temporarily occupied Kherson region in order to monitor our actions both by sea and on land,” the report states.

The Predel-E radar system was also covered by the Leer-2 electronic warfare system. Nevertheless, in August 2023, Russia’s latest development worth USD 200 million together with its ‘protector’ EW system were completely destroyed by Ukrainian warriors.
