On the morning of August 29, 2023, eight Russian warships were remaining on combat duty in the Black Sea, but no missile carriers were spotted among them.

The relevant statement was made by Head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Humeniuk during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Eight Russian warships are now deployed in the Black Sea and one in the Sea of Azov. No missile carriers are on combat duty, as all of them were taken to home stations,” Humeniuk told.

Meanwhile, the threat of Russian missile attacks is persisting. According to Humeniuk, enemy missile ships can set off within several hours. She also mentioned that sometimes Russian invaders launched strikes directly from the bays.
