One killed, one injured as enemy shells Kupiansk

The press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this, according to Ukrinform.

"According to the investigation, on August 29, around 08:30, the enemy shelled the city of Kupiansk with artillery. The territory of a food enterprise was hit. A 45-year-old security guard died," the report says.

A private home was also damaged, and a 67-year-old civilian was injured. In addition, as a result of the enemy shelling of Kupiansk, at about 05:00, an apartment building was damaged.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported, hostilities continue in Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region. In this sector, according to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy is creating mine obstacles along the border in Belgorod region, and is also looking for weak spots in the Ukrainian defense. Having no success at the front, the enemy is shelling the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv region.
