Ukrainian flag hoisted near Antonivka Bridge on left bank of Dnipro River
The relevant video was posted by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian flag in the left-bank Kherson region. Summer houses near the Antonivka Bridge,” Yermak wrote.
The military in the video say they have noticed a building with a flagpole bearing the Ukrainian coat of arms in a garden cooperative, and hoisted the Ukrainian flag there. In this way, they wanted to make it clear for Russian occupiers that Ukrainian land will eventually be liberated from the invaders.
A reminder that, in autumn 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the right-bank Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. The left-bank area of the Kherson region is remaining temporarily occupied by Russian troops.
