Zelensky thanks U.S. for new assistance package

President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked all American people, the Congress and U.S. President Joseph Biden for a new military assistance package worth $250 million for Ukraine.
The Ukrainian president wrote this on the social platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Ukrinform reports.
“I am grateful to all American people, the Congress and personally to President Joseph Biden for the new defense assistance package for Ukraine. Artillery, missiles, ammunition for HIMARS, demining equipment - that's what our warriors need. Freedom needs protection, and this protection is growing strong,” Zelensky wrote.
As reported, the United States on Tuesday announced a new package of military assistance worth $250 million for Ukraine. It includes missiles for air defense systems, artillery ammunition, mine-clearing equipment and others.
