More than 20,000 Ukrainian defenders already trained in United Kingdom

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to the General Staff, each Ukrainian recruit received all the necessary and useful ammunition and physical support before training.

Ukrainian soldiers are given everything they need during training and in combat. This includes not only summer and winter uniform and footwear, bulletproof vests and helmets, but also tactical glasses and gloves, first aid kits, sleeping bags and pads, as well as comfortable and durable backpacks and bags to carry such things.

All military goods were received as part of the multinational military operation, Operation Interflex.

Hence, the United Kingdom is providing effective and significant support to Ukraine in its struggle against Russia’s unprovoked invasion. Currently, the aid received has already exceeded GBP 2.3 billion.
