For Russia not to threaten neighboring states, it should be deprived of opportunity to launch drones at Ukraine - Yermak
Yermak addressed the issue on Telegram, reports Ukrinform.
Russian attack UAVs are a threat not only to Ukraine, but also to neighboring states, Ukraine’s partners, he said.
"With their terrorist attacks on the Ukrainian port infrastructure, the purpose of which is to create a global food crisis, Russian drones and missiles threaten the residents of other countries as well. It is possible to stop this with firm action," the head of the President's Office emphasized.
It is necessary to cut off oxygen to the Russian defense industry, Yermak noted. The Russians must not receive Western components for the production of missiles and UAVs through third countries. The McFaul-Yermak group has already proposed a corresponding action plan to its partners. Sanctions should become tougher. Without these components, Russia will not be able to produce weapons for murder, the head of the Office stressed.
Also, Yermak emphasized, the Russians should be deprived of the opportunities to launch drones at Ukraine.
"Ukraine needs more air defense/anti-missile defense systems. The enemy's bet is to overload our defenses with the number of their own weapons and UAVs. Accordingly, more systems are needed," the head of the President’s Office emphasized.
According to Yermak, additional weapons and long-range missiles for Ukraine will speed up the liberation of territories captured by Russia, which must be defeated on the battlefield.
"We must make this state lose any potential to conduct hostilities for years. This is possible if we destroy their army and deprive their military-industrial complex of the ability to produce weapons. Only in this way will we be able to stop the crazy dictatorship that poses a threat to everyone." Yermak emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, during a massive Russian drone attack overnight Monday in the area of the Izmail port, Odesa region, Shahed kamikaze drones fell detonated on the territory of Romania.
