Russian army shells Kherson region 73 times in past day

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past day, the enemy launched 73 shelling attacks, firing 469 projectiles from mortars, artillery, Grad MLRS, automatic grenade launchers, tanks, aircraft and UAVs. The enemy fired 46 shells at the city of Kherson."," he said.

The Russian military targeted the residential quarters of settlements, a critical infrastructure facility, an engineering structure, a utility company, an educational institution and a church in Kherson district, the territory of a transport company and a factory in Kherson.

As reported by Ukrinform, on October 22, Russian forces dropped 12 guided aerial bombs on the settlements of the right bank of Kherson region.
