Russian troops shell 24 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region overnight

Over the past day, October 22, Russian invaders opened fire on 24 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Yuriy Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reported.

"177 attacks: the enemy fired at 24 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. 153 artillery attacks took place on the territory of Gulyaypole, Novoandriivka, Chervone, Charivne, Preobrazhenka, Huliaipilske, Shcherbaky, Novodarivka, Stepove, Lobkove, Stepnohirsk and other frontline towns and villages," the statement reads.

It is noted that the Russian military carried out 14 UAV attacks on Gulyaypole, Novodarivka, Robotyne, Bilohirya, Pyatykhatky, Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske. They carried out an air strike on Orikhiv and shelled Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Poltavka, Novodarivka, Kamianske and Pyatykhatky with MLRS.

Malashko added that a house was damaged as a result of a Russian strike on the civilian sector. No civilians were injured.

As reported, Russian troops shelled the Zaporizhzhia region 175 times on October 21, 23 settlements were hit.
