Defense Forces have partial success west of Verbove in Melitopol sector

General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to the commander, "the enemy launched 10 airstrikes, carried out 49 combat engagements, and also conducted 932 artillery strikes."

"Missile troops and artillery units from the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops performed 1,228 fire missions throughout the day. The enemy’s total losses reached 409 people. Three invaders surrendered," said Tarnavskyi.

According to him, 27 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed, including three tanks, 8 AFVs, seven artillery systems, one SPG, four UAVs, four vehicles.

One enemy ammunition depot was destroyed. Another 18 units of Russian military equipment were damaged, Tarnavskyi added.

As Ukrinform reported, since February 24, 2022, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have eliminated about 296,310 Russian invaders.
