Umerov discusses speeding up F16s supply to Ukraine with Danish defense minister

The supply of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine was the main topic of negotiations between the Ministers of Defense of Ukraine and Denmark, Rustem Umerov and Troels Lund Poulsen, in Kyiv.

"I thank Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Denmark Troels Lund Poulsen for fruitful and constructive negotiations and a frank conversation in Kyiv. The key issue is speeding up the supply of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine," Umerov posted on Facebook.

The ministers also discussed the demining of liberated territories, professional training of Ukrainian military, cooperation on implementing IT in the Ukrainian army, and the provision of additional assistance.

Umerov emphasized that Denmark is one of the countries leading the international coalition's efforts to train pilots and support staff, maintain aircraft and supply F-16s to Ukraine

As reported, Denmark will send 19 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Minister of Defense of Denmark Troels Lund Poulsen and thanked for 12 military aid packages that strengthen Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield.
