Man killed in own backyard as Russians shell Kherson

In Kherson, a local man, 64 was killed in his own backyard, while his spouse sustained injuries.
That’s according to the chief of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, who reported the news on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.
"At around 08:00, the Russian army shelled residential quarters in the littoral zone of Kherson’s Dniprovskyi district. A family couple (both 64-year-old) were hit. The man died on the spot. At the time of the enemy attack, he was in his own backyard," Mrochko said.
According to the report, his wife, who was in the house when the shell hit the area, suffered various injuries and was rushed to a hospital.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russian strike affected the Oles Honchar regional universal scientific library in Kherson.
