Special operations forces help eliminate enemy group on outskirts of Avdiivka

The Special Operations Forces shared this information via Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In the Avdiivka sector, the enemy does not abandon attempts to advance. However, our operators, in cooperation with friendly units of the Defense Forces, continue to hold back the enemy, inflicting significant losses," the post reads.

Thus, operators of the 8th separate regiment of the Special Operations Forces during nighttime observation spotted the movement of an enemy group consisting of four servicemen

"We are constantly monitoring the most dangerous directions in our area of responsibility using a drone with night and thermal imaging capabilities. During a regular overflight of the territory in the Avdiivka sector, an enemy group was detected. Mortar gunners responded immediately, and in a few minutes they completely eliminated the enemy group by a direct hit to the center of the enemy group," said the operator with call sign "Fly".

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces destroyed the most advanced enemy artillery reconnaissance system 1K148 Yastreb-AV in the southern sector.
