SOF operators help missile unit destroy Russia’s Tirada-2 EW complex in Donetsk direction

That’s according to the SOF Command press service, which published the relevant video of the hit, Ukrinform reports.

The Russian system, designed to tamper with satellite signal, was discovered by drone operators from the SOF’s 3rd Separate Regiment during an aerial reconnaissance mission.

The Russians put the system into service in the fall of 2018, and already in the spring of 2019, the system was first spotted in the occupied part of Luhansk region.

Having designated the coordinates of the enemy target, SOF operators spotted missile fire. As a result of a high-precision strike, the electronic warfare system was completely destroyed.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in the Southern Operational Zone, the Special Operations Forces destroyed Russia’s highest-end artillery reconnaissance system, 1K148 Yastreb-AV.
